The Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute (RBNI) and the Helen Diller Quantum Center at the Technion invite applications for the Norman and Barbara Seiden Family Prize for excellence in multidisciplinary undergraduate projects in the fields of optoelectronics, nanoscience, and quantum science.
Two prizes will be awarded for outstanding projects in nanoscience and two prizes for outstanding projects in quantum science, each in the amount of $2,000.
Evaluation criteria may include:
- Innovation and originality
- Contribution to a scientific publication (published or in progress)
- Significant contribution to the design or construction of an experimental system
- Conceptual or theoretical advancement in the field

- A recommendation letter from the project supervisor detailing the student’s specific contribution
The competition is intended for projects carried out during the תשפ"ה academic year and completed by December 2025.
