The Helen Diller Quantum Center is awarding scholarships to  selected students in the field of quantum science and technology studying at the Technion.

The scholarships aim to encourage students to engage in this important research field.

The  criteria for receiving the scholarship include:

•  The extent and quality  of scientific output, as demonstrated by publications in scientific journals and conferences in the field.
• The congruence between the research and the core aims of the quantum center
• Exceptional circumstances, such as contribution to the society etc.

The recipient will receive an  additional one scholarship portion per month beyond the approved amount for the eligibility period.

The  scholarship will be granted for the months October 2025 to September 2026 (inclusive), subject to the specified conditions below.
Note: Candidates who receive or have applied for a named scholarship/an external scholarship - can apply for the Helen Diller Quantum Center excellence scholarships, pending the approval of the Technion graduates’ school and according to the guidelines of the external/named scholarship that the student has received or has applied for.

Eligibility : Technion scholarship recipients receiving 4 or more monthly scholarships in the academic year 2025-2026. Students who do not have at least 11 months of continuous scholarship this year (October 2025 to September 2026, inclusive) are not eligible.

Exceptions will be examined per case.

Special application submission approval will be given to master students who began their studies in March 2024. These students are granted 24 months of continuous scholarship and have an approved 6a scholarship extension, for the 2025-2026 academic year. In other words, master students who have an approved scholarship for 11 months in the 2025-2026 academic year (between the months of October 2025 and August 2026, inclusive).
