The 2027 ERC work program has just been released.
The ERC Starting Grant (StG) deadline is October 14, 2026.
As one of the most prestigious research awards in Horizon Europe, the ERC funds groundbreaking, ambitious, frontier science projects with grants up to €1.5 million (plus up to an additional €1 million for infrastructure). This grant is open to outstanding PIs who are within 10 years of their PhD defense.
Note that the Technion will be closed due to the Holidays for Yom Kippur (20-21/9/26) and for Succot between 25/9/26 - 1/10/26.
To ensure you receive optimal support from the Research Promotion Unit (RPU) for this highly competitive submission, we have prepared the following Submission Schedule.
We strongly recommend adhering to this timeline to make sure your final submission is completed smoothly. It is not too early to begin preparing your proposal!
